About Dolphreaky

Allie Goodman aka “Dolphreaky” founded this charity after developing a large following on social media platforms as a recognizable fan of the Miami Dolphins. After many years of being a resource for fans in the community, she felt her ability to bring fans together should not be wasted. She was inspired by the charity work other NFL fanbases, as well as that of other fans in the Dolphins community. Notably, the Miami Dolphins organization prides itself on being very active and influential in the community - hosting various children’s events, fundraising and creating awareness for a variety of public health causes (ie: Dolphins Cancer Challenge), and honoring military members and their families. During the 2021-22 season, Dolphreaky and her tailgate friends met a little girl named Maci, who inspired them in so many ways in such a short time. Maci, who had been severely abused as a small child and overcame tremendous odds, demonstrated that small gestures by superfans can make a huge difference in the lives of children. Dolphreaky was moved to do something to serve the community and its children; but she didn’t want her charity to just serve one specific population. If there was ever a need to fulfill, she wanted to fulfill it. Whether it was a suffering food pantry, an overwhelmed animal shelter, or a family experiencing hard times, Dolphreaky wanted to create an organization that could address those needs. And thus, Dolphreaky’s Phriends Inc. was conceived.

WHAT DOLPHREAKY'S PHRIENDS DO

A Phamily of Phriends Making a Difference

Uniting Miami Dolphins fans in spreading positivity and impacting the community any way we can - that's our mission.

Quite obviously, Miami Dolphins fans already share a common love - the Miami Dolphins, of course!  The Dolphins do their part in uniting the fanbase with their on-field activity, but our goal is to unite fans off of the field. We strive to organize events, such as food drives and beach cleanups, which are fun opportunities for fan fellowship, yet also benefit the local community and show the true power of the fanbase.

FOOD DRIVES

Nourishing our Community

It may shock you to learn that 40 million Americans struggle with food, including 12 million children, according to Feeding America. This means 1 in 8 adults (13%) and 1 in 6 children (17%) live in households without consistent access to sufficient food. In the local Southwest Florida Community alone (Lee and Collier counties), about 122,000 adults and 38,000 children are hungry.

At Dolphreaky’s Phriends Inc. we recognize the need to feed people within our own community and beyond. We understand the power that we have as a fanbase to combat this issue.

In 2021, the average attendance at Miami Dolphins home games was 64,374 according to Statistica. Imagine if each attendee brought a bag of non-perishables to a tailgate food drive! We, as fans, have the power to make a huge impact on hunger in the community with just a simple fundraiser.

We hosted our first canned / non-perishable food & cat food drive at the tailgate before the 2022 Week 1 Miami Dolphins vs New England Patriots home game at Hard Rock Stadium on September 11th, 2022.

This food drive benefitted both the Harry Chapin Food Bank of SWFL and Naples Cat Alliance.

Naples Cat Alliance is a local group of dedicated volunteers carrying out TNR, cat rescue and adoptions in Collier County. They do not receive government funding and rely solely on private donations. Every dollar goes directly to the life-saving operations of the organization. They’ve made a significant impact on stray and feral cat populations.

The Harry Chapin Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief nonprofit and the only Feeding America member in Southwest Florida, serving Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties. They distribute donated food and other grocery products through their food distribution programs, feeding more than a quarter of a million hungry people each month!

Dolphreaky’s Phriends look forward to hosting these types of events at least once a season.

Suggested donations:

- Wet & dry cat food

- Dried & canned beans/fruits/veggies

- Nut butters

- Canned fish & poultry

- Nuts and seeds

- Grains

- Jerky

VACCINE CLINICS

We have a “shot” at making a difference

At Dolphreaky's Phriends, Inc., we are dedicated to addressing the issue of poor vaccination rates in Florida. Dolphreaky herself is a registered pharmacist and certified immunizer and works to provide various types of immunizations in her local community. Working the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic, she and her team played a role in ensuring Covid vaccines were provided safely and efficiently. She also works with patients of all ages to provide age-appropriate vaccines to reduce the incidence of diseases such shingles, pneumonia, tetanus and whooping cough.

We understand the importance of vaccinations in the community, particularly how they mitigate communal spread at high-attendance events like sports games. The Covid season was difficult for everyone and divided the community on the topic of vaccines. Our short-term goals are to provide education and to organize vaccine clinics, especially during flu season, in conjunction with major pharmacy chains and other healthcare providers. Stay tuned for more information.

HIGHWAY, BEACH & DISASTER CLEAN-UP

Beautifying our Home

Dolphreaky’s Phriends Inc. is headquartered in beautiful southwest Florida. We take pride in the magnificence of Florida and its distinctive environment. South Florida is a popular tourist destination, known for its appealing weather and stunning beaches. Florida is home to unique animals such as alligators and manatees, and unusual tropical plants such as palm trees and citrus plants. Unfortunately, visitors and residents alike are not as kind to the environment as they should be, oftentimes leaving trash and fishing nets on the shorelines and tossing their coffee cups and cigarettes on roadsides. Consider joining us for a roadside or beach cleanup! Events will be organized periodically throughout the year, in conjunction with the local county and FLDOT to ensure the safety of our participants. Give us a few hours of your time and see what a difference we can make on the environment. Together, we can ensure our beautiful landscape remains as such!

In the aftermath of Hurricane Ian in September 2022, which left much of SWFL in ruins, including some of the most iconic tourist areas in Florida, phriends helped with the relief effort. We served hot meals to residents and first responders and collected supplies and clothing for the affected families. SWFL is our home and there was no way we could sit idly by.

MILITARY CARE PACKAGES

Committed to Our Military Phamily

Our military phamilies are so very important to us and we value the sacrifices they make every day. Their dedication to our country allows us to feel safe at games and gives us the freedom to be who we are and live the lives we live. We strive to find fun and innovative ways to let service members and their families know they are appreciated. Whether it's sending care packages with toiletries and goodies overseas, or helping children cope with a service member parent's absence, Dolphreaky's Phriends are up for anything. If you know of a military family in need, please reach out and let us know what we can do to help! We are open to accepting physical donations at our mailing address, which can be found in the contact page, as well as monetary donations.

SUPERFAN VISITATIONS

Putting smiles on faces wherever and whenever we can

As Miami Dolphins fans we have gotten really, really good at showing spirit and having a good time, even during the darkest and most disappointing of times. We have a network of really cool and inspirational fans whom we like to call "superfans," and these fans are known for being motivational leaders in the Dolphins community. They are also known for their fantastically memorable gameday outfits and positive attitudes! They can turn any frown upside down. We look forward to organizing superfan visits to children's hospitals, nursing homes, and fundraisers in hopes of putting smiles on faces! Laughter is the best medicine and we look forward to helping our community get better, one baby step at a time.
